This document explains which cookies and similar technologies the website syntai.studio uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage your consent. The website is operated by Petra Jančiarová, email info [at] syntai [dot] studio; full identification details are in the Privacy policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They make it possible, for example, to remember your chosen language or your cookie choice. All cookies currently used by this website are first-party (set directly by the syntai.studio domain).

2. Legal basis

Necessary cookies are stored without consent because they are required to provide the service you requested (Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your prior consent (Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll.; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, such scripts are not loaded at all.

I currently use no analytics cookies. If I introduce them in the future, they will be listed here and loaded only after you consent to the “Analytics” category.

Marketing (only with consent)

I currently use no marketing cookies. If I introduce them in the future (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Pixel), they will be listed here and loaded only after you consent to the “Marketing” category.

4. Other technologies

• The website does not use localStorage or any other storage to track visitors.
• Fonts are served directly from this website, not from Google’s servers.
• The contact form is protected against spam without third-party services (hidden field, fill-time check, message limit) – it sets no cookies.

5. Managing your consent

On your first visit a banner lets you choose Accept all, Reject, or open Settings (the cookie preference centre) to enable individual categories and see the cookies used in each (Reject all, Save choices, Accept all). You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. After withdrawal, the related scripts stop loading and the website attempts to delete their cookies.

You can also delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may limit how the website works (e.g. remembering your language).
